JESUS IS YOUR GUARDIAN

Shabbat Shalom!  Today, we are going to talk about what the Word of God says about "Jesus Is Your Guardian".  The word guardian is a noun.  A Guardian is a Keeper, a Protector.  So in that case, Jesus is our Guardian, our Keeper, and our Protector.

I want to personally take my time to thank Jesus for protecting me and my loved ones all this time.  I am so happy that the Bible tells me that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever {Hebrews 13:8}.  That means, whenever and whatever He has started to Keep and Protect, He will do it till the end.  That is why He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End {Revelation 1:8}; the Author and Finisher of our faith.  Let us continue to keep our eyes on Him {Hebrews 12:2}.  I pray this day, that He continues to  keep, protect, and intercess  for the leaders of our Nations all over the World; the Children of God all over the World; the Body of Christ that are fighting the good fight in this crucial {important, critical} moment of time, in Jesus' Mighty Name.  Amen!!!

Today, we will start with

Isaiah 43:2

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.  When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you."

The waters mentioned here is probably when the Hebrew Children were escaping from captivity from Egypt, from Pharoah and his troop.  Like I mentioned earlier, every traumatic occurrence, creates a stronghold.  This causes a wound in the soul, and a strongman is assigned to that wound by the devil to torment and dominate man.  As children of God and as a born again, we too have to go through the battle of spiritual Egypt into the place where God has created us for and called us to.

Now, I think every person has a woundedness in their soul, that is why we are considered living in a "broken world".  Every person has or have had {if they have been delivered} something they have struggled with, that no matter what they do or did to shake it, has been impossible.  This is where God comes in.  He is our Stronghold {Psalm 9:9-10};  He says to us "You shall not fear them for it is the Lord your God who fights for you" {Deuteronomy 3:22}; God is our Deliverer {Psalm 20:7}.  Amen?

So when you are going through trials and tribulations, you are passing through waters.  God has to take us out of that bondage/slavery, that captivity into our "Promised Land", whatever that may be.  The bondage is the problem or area of our lives we struggle in and the "Promised Land" is the outcome of when God delivers us.  It could be spiritual bondage, financial bondage, relationship bondage, mental bondage, addiction bondage, etc..  But we are not alone, Jesus our Guardian is knocking at the door of our hearts waiting for us to let Him come in so He can keep us from that bondage/slavery and set us free from that captivity.

Revelation 3:19-21 says "Those I love, I rebuke and discipline.  Therefore be earnest                           {passionate, sincere [about your situation] and repent.  Behold, I stand at the door and knock.  If             anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me.                 To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to sit with Me on My throne {a Promise}, just             as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne".  WOW!!!  What great love!!!

As I was reading the verse above, where it says "To the one who overcomes", the Holy Spirit                 revealed to me that the purpose of Revelation 3:19-21 is that Jesus truely is waiting for us to                 call on Him to deliver us from bondage so that we can be overcomers like Him.  MY GOD!!!

So if you are going through any kind of bondage, struggling with anything, He is waiting for                 you.  All you have to do is cry out to him.  The symptoms of the bondage is a rebuke and a                    discipline because He loves you.  It is something that you are doing that is not pleasing to God.              Maybe it is okay for other people but not for you.  That is why He is asking you to be earnest               {be sincere}.  What are you struggling with?  What is the state of your life, your health?  What is             your financial state?  Really examine your life.  You  must read Revelation 3:19-21 again.                      Because just now, the Holy Spirit revealed this Scripture to me.

Psalm 3:3

"But You, O LORD, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head."  Hallelujah!  Thank You Jesus!!!

2 Chronicles 16:9a

"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.  In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars."

This verse is very interesting.  It tells us that God's eyes are watching us throughout the whole earth.  A lot of people do not realize that God sees everything we do, that is ignorance they think like that.  I was one.  When you know God sees everything you do, as a believer, you start being careful what you do.  Because you know He sees you.  This is where the fear of the Lord comes in;

Proverbs 9:10 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom".

You become wiser.  You know why?  The Bible says:

Hebrews 12:6-7 "For whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth, God dealeth with you as with                        sons/daughters; for what son/daughter is he/her whom the Father/Mother chasteneth not?"

Let us see what other words are that are the same as chasten {discipline, chastise, humble, scold,            etc.}.  Mind you, chasten is a verb.  It means to correct or to humiliate.  How many of you have            been chastened by your parents because you did something wrong?  Just as parents, God does the        same thing, and Hebrews 12:6-7 says that God does it because He loves us.  That's the same reason        parents do it.  But most children these days are dominated by the strongman disobedience, that they        will not go for a parent chastening them.  As a result, they open the door to let satan in to do to or           through them whatever.  It is a mandate by God for parents to discipline their children.  The                    children that disobey their children disobeys God.  But mind you, the way the strongman,                       disobedience, came through children may have not been only the child opening the gateway,                   disobedience may have come though 3 generations back {Exodus 20:5}.

We all {parents and children} need to work together to correct this issue.  It is getting to be                       unmanageable.  I have come across a lot of children, and they hate their parents mainly                           because they don't want to be told what to do, and they are very disobedient.  Most of them,                    because of the sin of disobedience, satan has pushed them far from knowing God, and other                     spirits like division and abandonment, amongst many, have set in.  I believe this is where                       deliverance and prayer comes in.  This is another subject, I'll stop here for now.

Deuteronomy 1:30

"The LORD your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes."  Egypt {not the physical Egypt} represents spiritual bondage/captivity.

2 Thessalonians 3:3

"But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard {keep, protect} you from the evil one."  The evil one is satan and of course, all his satanic and human servants, and all their works.  If you believe and agree, say amen!!!

Exodus 23:22

"But if you indeed obey His voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries."

1 Samuel 2:9

"He will guard {protect, keep} the feet of His saints, But the wicked shall be silent in darkness.  For by strength no man shall prevail."  So if you are struggling with going the right way, this is a good Scripture to meditate and pray upon, asking the Lord to guard your feet in the right direction.  I hope this prayer below will help if anyone needs it.  You can pray it over any area of your life that you need guardance.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, in Your glorious Name, I come to You, and ask that You guard my feet in the right direction, because You O Lord, are the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  I surrender to You, Lord.  You know what's best for me.  I put all my faith, my hope, and trust in You.

I decree and  declare this day and forever, that God is a Lamp to my feet and a Light to my path, in Jesus' Mighty Name.  Amen!!!  pflb ©  10/24/20.

Psalm 61:3

"For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy."  Thank You Jesus.

Zephaniah 3:17

"The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."

1 Peter 3:12-13

For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil.  And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?

I love this.  This is a very powerful scripture.  This is the second time today that The Word of God is telling us that God's eyes are on us.  It is good for us to know that He is watching out for us; His ears are open to our prayers, that is why we must constantly pray, because prayer is conversing with God.

It is encouraging to know that He is against those who do evil {the verse above}, because evil is rampart in the world today.  It is nothing new, it has just gotten worse.  This is why there is so much bad things happening in our world, because the outcome of  evil behaviors and actions brings one under the influence and dominion of satan, as a result, God chastens you {Hebrews 12:6-7}.  In this case, He turns His Face against you, that means, He is not keeping you, protecting you, or watching out for you.  Like I said earlier, people, all of God's creation are His children.  Some are lost, as a result, do not have a good relationship with God, and are constantly doing evil wicked deeds.  There are different levels of wickedness.  Even doubting God is a sin.  Sometimes even people that are born again do these things.  If you are a born again/believer and are still going through a lot of bad stuff, this is when you seek deliverance or turn to God's Word.  This is a good scripture to constantly pray:

Psalm 139:23-24 "Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious                           thoughts.  See if there is any offensive {evil, wicked} way in me, and lead me in the way                        everlasting".

Anxious is an adjective.  It means worried, tense.  Anxious is a spirit that works with the                         strongman fear.  Fear is the absence of Faith.  From today on, instead of us worrying let us cast             all our cares and worries on Jesus because He cares for us {1 Peter 5:7}. I was a big time                    worrier, I am getting better and better day by day.  Thank You Jesus!!!

Deuteronomy 33:27

The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, And will say, "Destroy!"  HALLELUJAH!

These are the benefits of Jesus being our Guardian.  He protects us, He keeps us.  It does not mean we do not experience bad things, but "all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose" {Romans 8:28}.

As believers, He is our refuge.  Deuteronomy 33:27 tells us that "He thrusts out the enemy from before us" {this is a good scripture to pray for God to remove the obstacles from before you}.  If you feel you are still going through stuff, especially things that keep repeating themselves; and you feel God is not protecting you, then you need to repent {forsake the behavior you think is the cause}; seek deliverance; get into the Word; ask God to search you {Psalm 139:23-24}so He will reveal to you what you may be doing wrong.  Don't stop until you have clarity, understanding and breakthrough.

Psalm 91:7

"A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you."  Thank You Jesus, amen!!!

Isaiah 59:19

"So shall they fear The Name of the LORD from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun" {East}; "When the enemy {satan} comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will raise up a standard against him".

PRAISE GOD HALLELUJAH!  This is an awesome Word.  Have you ever felt very strong heavy unshakable problems, sometimes multiple, one after the other?    When this happens, you repent and you pray to God, you're calling for His intervention.  Since He is a Free-Will God, He loves it when you call on Him for help.  {Did you know this is a form of worship?}  This is when the enemy comes in like a flood, and God dispatches the Holy Spirit to raise up a standard against the devil.  WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!!!  This is all because JESUS IS OUR GUARDIAN!!!

Please share this blog to be a blessing to someone else and you be blessed, in Jesus' Mighty Name.  Amen!!!  pflb © 10/24/20
