 God Speaks In Many Ways

 This is a Spiritual Warfare Basic Teaching.

I just had an experience with a family member, unpleasant.  He had a dream and shared it with me.  In the dream, he was told to do something.  For privacy, I will not mention what the thing was.  As usual, a situation presented itself, right away.  As usual, his dream went out the door and did what he was told not to do.  It did not turn out too good.  He was taking it pretty good, though.  I pray he learned his lessons.

The interesting thing is, that as I am writing this piece right now, Holy Spirit is teaching.  He is telling me that when you have these encounters {dreams, visions, whispers, discipline, etc.} with God, you should pay attention because something is about to happen.  Which could either make you or break you, depending on how you respond to the manifestation.

 "The prophet Nahum is the prophet who was given a message from God through a vision about God's anger against the city of Nineveh and God's plan to bring judgment upon the people for their sins.  "The Book of the vision of Nahum the Ekoshite" (Nahum 1:1)"

"God speaks to His people in many different ways, and we should never expect that He can speak to us in just one way.  He will speak to us through dreams, visions, whispers, discipline, and even through illness and troubled times."

"Our focus should be on hearing His voice, not on the circumstance through which He speaks.  Listening when the Spirit calls is the only way to recognize His voice.  Develop your listening ear; be sure that you are not talking more to Him than you are listening to Him."

PRAYER

Father God, thank You for taking Your time to speak to me.  And thank You for teaching me the different ways you speak to me.

I yield to Your Spirit to teach me to focus on hearing Your voice when You speak to me; recognizing Your voice when You speak to me; acknowledging that it is You speaking to me; and obeying Your will, instantly.

Beloved Holy Spirit, will You help me develop my listening ear so I may hear Father call?  Father, put desire in me to listen more and talk less when You are talking to me.  

I believe it is done.  I receive it and I thank You, in Jesus' Mighty Name and by the Power of the Holy Spirit I pray.  Amen.   © Princess  4/24/26
