JESUS IS YOUR FELLOWSHIP

Shabbat Shalom!  Today, we are going to talk about "JESUS IS YOUR FELLOWHIP".  For those of you that participated in the "21 DAYS WITH HOLY SPIRIT" Prayer and fasting, guess what we were doing?  We were fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit, wherein we learned of the importance of fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit.

HE is the GPS of our lives for the rest of our journey on this earth right now.  It is through the Holy Spirit that God the Father and Son navigates our lives, if we listen and obey, and do.

That is why the Scripture says in James 1:22 "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves".  Hearing the Word is attaining knowledge, and doing the Word that we've attained is exercising wisdom.

What is fellowship?  Fellowship is a noun.  It means sociability and also association.  Other words for fellowship are: acquaintance, alliance, club, communion, companionship, company, comradeship, familiarity, league, order, society, togetherness.

Now I am going to share with you, Scriptures, that will teach us of why we should fellowship with Jesus.  It is a mandate, as a child of God, as a believer, to do so.  The first Scripture of this series is

1 John 1:3

"That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ."

This John, making this statement, is the John that was one of the disciples of Jesus.  He was with Jesus.  He saw Him, he heard Him, he learned from Him, ate with Him, travelled with Him, et cetera.

John is letting us know the importance of fellowshipping with brethren, and most of all, the Father and the Son.  They did not know the Holy Spirit when Jesus was here, until after Jesus left.

1 Corinthians 1:9

"God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord".

When it says God is faithful, it means God is loyal and reliable.  You can trust in what He says.  He is not like man or the devil to say one thing and do another.  Probably the reason why man is like that, is because we have become more worldly and less spiritual.  I am not saying every man is like that; and when I say man, I mean everything that ends in man describing a person.  Like woman?  Lol!

Prayer:  Father God, in Jesus' Name, help us trust in You and in Your Word.  Make it a part of us, sowing it into our minds, our hearts, our temples.  Let it penetrate our temples {bodies}, and rest there, cleansing, justifying, and watering us, and our lives, in Jesus' Mighty Name.  Amen!!!

Revelation 3:20

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me".

Did you know that there are doors on your bodies, and your body is a temple, and it will not be a bad idea to allow Jesus to come in?  Your heart is one, your mind is another, you eyes, ears, mouth, nose, head: forehead, back of your head, top of your head, sides of your head, et cetera?  Your belly is another door; and your world, your life, and so on.

If you are having problems in these areas, maybe it is time you allow Jesus to come in and justify the problems.  He will do it with love.  Everything He does with love because He is love.  He is standing there, at the door {of your heart, your mind, your home, every door associated with you}, waiting for you to open the door to let Him in.

Why don't we start today, by first, asking the Holy Spirit to soak our hands in the Blood of Jesus, and laying our hands on any parts of our bodies, and invite Jesus to come in and take dominion.   Or you can even just lay your hands on that part of your body and call His Name.  And thank Him, believing you have received it, in Jesus' Name and by the Power of the Holy Spirit.  Amen!!!

John 14:23

"Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him".

Prayer:  Father God, in Jesus' Name, we yield to Your Spirit to teach, equip, and enable us to love Jesus and keep His Word because we seek and hunger for Your love; so that You will come to us and make Your home with us, in Jesus' Mighty Name {Philippians 2:9}.  Amen!!!

Zechariah 2:10

"Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion!  For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst," says the LORD".

Yes LORD!  Amen!!!  This is a promise.  He says in 2 Corinthians 1:20 that all our promises are Yes and amen.  This is why it is very important to listen to and surround yourself with Bible lyrical music.  It brings in the presence of God.  It is written, "in His Presence there is fullness of joy, and He makes known to us the path of life" {Psalm 16:11}.

Matthew 18:20

"For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them".

So Remember, wherever you gather together, in the Name of Jesus, He is right there with you.  Fellowshipping, even in the social media groups.  Thank You Jesus!!!  Amen hallelujah!!!

John 14:21

"He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me.  And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him".

Manifest is an adjective and a verb.  It means clear, obvious as an adjective, and exhibit, make plain as a verb.  This Scripture is saying that Jesus will make Himself clear to us, and He will show Himself to us.

John 15:4, 5, 7

4 Abide in Me, and I in you.  As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
5 I am the vine, you are the branches.  He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

This is a very powerful Scripture.  Here in John 15:4, Jesus is describing Himself as the Vine, and us as the branches.  And He is commanding us to abide in Him and Him in us.

The way we can abide in Him and Him in us is through the Word of God, because He is the Word of God {John 1:1}.  So when we fill ourselves with Scriptures, we abide in Him and He  abides in us.  WE BECOME ONE.  This is why satan is afraid.  He makes it a struggle to read the Bible, or try to scatter people that are after Jesus'  heart.

In John 15:5, Jesus is teaching us that when we abide in Him, and He in us, then we can bear fruit.  We can be ALL that we are created to be.  This too is a threat to satan.

Bearing fruit means: blooming, prospering, thriving, unfolding, producing {My God!}, increasing {My God!}, progressing, multiplying. growing rich, hit the jackpot, rise, et cetera.

And then He goes on to say, "for without Me you can do nothing".  This is a de ja vu to me.  Has anybody ever been in this place?  No matter what you do, you are not increasing, you are not producing, to the point you feel something holding you down, even though you can't see it.  Nothing is happening.  The solution is Jesus, His Word.  It says so in John 15:4-5: 4 Abide in Me, and I in you.  As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
5 I am the vine, you are the branches.  He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing..

They call people lazy; an addict, dirty, hateful,  all things, because they can't see what is fighting you, controlling you, manipulating you, influencing you, because the physical eyes cannot see it.  You know what is going on here, THIS IS SPIRITUAL WARFARE, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18.  READ IT!!!

It says we do not wrestle against flesh and blood {people are flesh and blood}, but against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in heavenly places {these are spirits}.  They are the ones that are causing the warfare, not people.  The spirits are the ones working through people.

Jesus knew we had to encounter these spirits, go through these spiritual warfare, that is why He said these things.

And He says in John 15:7 that "If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, in Jesus' Name, I ask that You put the desire in me to abide in Jesus, and Him in me.  Jesus come and abide in me.  I know and understand now that Jesus is the Vine and I am the branch, and without Him, I cannot bear fruit.  It is my desire to partake of Your Promises.

I now choose to abide in Jesus, and Him in me.  I desire to do everything You have created me and called me to do.  I understand now that You put the desires into my heart, and if I ask what I desire, it shall be done for me.  I yield to Your Spirit to help, teach, equip, enable, and empower me to do it, in Jesus' Mighty Name.  Amen!!!

Philippians 2:1-2

"Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind".  {Amen}

Prayer:  Father God, in Jesus' Name.  Help us.  We are all so wounded, and easily agitated, not knowing who to trust.  We cannot do this without You.  Let Your Kingdom come and Your Will be done for us.  On earth, in our earthen vessels {our bodies}, in our lives, as it is in Heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, in Jesus' Name.  Amen!!!

Q:  What is daily bread?
A:  All those things, such as the Word {Jesus}, regular prayer, worship and meditation, needed to sustain spiritual life, Manna {gift from God, provision}

Psalm 119:63

I am a companion of all who fear You, and of those who keep Your precepts. {Fellowshipping with other believers.  Amen!!!}

Ephesians 5:2, 19, 30

5 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.  {Yes God, in Jesus' Name.}

19 Speaking to one another in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, {Yes Lord}

30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.  {Amen!!!}

1 John 1:5-7

5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declared to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.  {Thank You Jesus!!!}

Please share this blog to be a blessing to someone, and you be blessed, in Jesus' Mighty Name {Philippians 2:9}.  Amen!!!  pflb © 1/30/21
