JESUS IS YOUR PEACE

Shabbat Shalom! Today, I am going to write about "Jesus Is Your Peace". In the past, on this blog, I thought I have posted Scriptures about Peace. Today, when I asked the Holy Spirit, what He wanted me to write about, He told me to write about "Jesus Is Your Peace". So I decided to check the blog to make sure that I have not already written about Peace. To my surprise, I already had, but not in the same format. That topic was "20 Encouraging Bible Verses about the Peace of God".

Today, the topic is "JESUS IS YOUR PEACE".  Big difference. And on top of it, that blog looks like gibberish, when I looked at it, before I started blogging. It was in an html {computer programming language} format. I did not put it in that format, so I knew I was to do a new Peace blog with a different title. As we all know Jesus is the "Prince of Peace", I knew "this too is the will of God". And this material is different from the material I used before.  I don't think you can get too much of hearing  peace anyways.  So here we go!  Our first verse is:

Isaiah 26:3

"You {God} will keep him {believers} in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You {God}, Because he {believers} trusts in You {God}".

This Scripture is awesome.  This Scripture is the reason why you hear people tell you to keep your eyes {your mind has eyes} on Jesus.  THE MIND IS THE BATTLE GROUND, and the eye and the mind work together.  Now you understand.  When you keep your eyes on Jesus, your mind follows, especially when you are going through trials and tribulations, or when you are bombarded by negativity, or you are being tempted, then He keeps you in perfect peace.

If you did not get how Jesus keeps you in perfect peace, read the above Scripture again, please.  This is very important that you get this, because negativity {temptations, "because our adversary the devil walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" 1 Peter 5:8 }.  Satan and his agents are waging war on us all the time.  And that negativity is temptation of different degrees.  They open doors to let satan in.

According to Isaiah 26:3, it also tells us that when we keep our mind on Jesus, it is because we trust in Him.  Isn't that awesome.  You also hear people say were your mind goes, your energy goes.  If your mind goes to the negativity {lies, nonsense, et cetera} the enemy is throwing at us, then you get drawn into it.  But when you take your mind off of the situation {trial, tribulation, negativity, temptation, et cetera}, and keep it on Jesus, then victory is possible.

Ephesians 2:13-14

"But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our Peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation".

This Scripture right here tells me about some of the finished work of Jesus.  In Him, we have been able to come back to God through His shed blood.  Before His finished work, we were far away from God.  Sin, the world, disobedience, et cetera, had opened the door wide open, and satan came in and put us far away from God.  As a result, we became naked, out from under God's protective covering.  Jesus became our Peace.  This is how He earned His title, "PRINCE OF PEACE"!!!

Philippians 4:6-7

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus".

This Scripture is so awesome.  Did you know that anxiety is a spirit?  Anxiety is a spirit under the strongman fear.  So when satan, his agents: strongmen and the sprits that work under them, come at you, this is a good time to use the Sword Isaiah 26:3 {Word [Jesus] of God}.  You keep your mind and your eyes on Jesus.

There are several ways you can keep your mind on God.  And I know some of you already know that.  It might be that you are in battle and you do not remember that you knew how to do that.  The enemy sometimes puts us in that state of mind.

You could read the Bible, listen to Christian Music or a sermon, fellowship with another believer, call on His Name, and just pray to God with His Words, in Jesus' Name..  This is why it is important that you know some scriptures that God has promised you against or into the situation.

Isaiah 26:12

"LORD, You will establish peace for us, For You have also done all our works in us".

Wow, this is a powerful verse.  This verse is from the Old Testament from the book of Isaiah, one of the Prophets of Old.  The title of this Chapter, Isaiah 26, is called, in my Bible, "A Song Of Salvation".  It is prophesying about the future, when Jesus comes back.  I am believing that we are nearing that place that verse 9-12 is talking about in Isaiah 26.  MY GOD!!!

So there is work to be done for us believers, and the time is now.  This is no joke.  Verse 12 says, "LORD, You will establish peace for us, For You have also done all our works in us {My Bible notated: Or for us}.  In order for us to live in that peace in these chaotic times {end times}, we must exercise Isaiah 26:3 at all times {"You [God] will keep him [believers] in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You [God], Because he [believers] trusts in You" [God]}.

We must steadfastly {firmly, sincerely, obediently} KEEP OUR MINDS AND EYES ON GOD at all times and TRUST IN HIM at all times, like our lives depended on it, and it does.  Herein lies our peace.  Philippians 4:7 backs this up "And the peace of God, which surpasses {beats, outperforms, passes, et cetera} all understanding, will guard {cover, defend, shepherd, safeguard, et cetera} your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus".  Hallelujah, thank You Jesus!!!

Isaiah 9:6-7

"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His Name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace".

Verse 6 above is about Jesus' birth in the Old Testament before He was even born. Isaiah the Prophet prophesied it in this verse.  And look at all the Names God told Isaiah what Jesus' Names will be: Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace!!!  These are just a few of His Names.

"Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His Kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this".  In this verse, he talks about His government.

Romans 16:20

"And the God of peace will crush satan under your feet shortly.  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.  Amen".  What a Mighty God we serve!!!

Philippians 4:9

"The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you".

I believe this is Paul talking to us.  And  he is saying that when we do what he did, God's peace will be with us.  Paul wrote majority of the New Testament.  He was a Christian killer who got saved and was converted into a believer.  With all the bad things he did to the believers, and in order to maintain peace after his transformation, you have to believe it.

Romans 5:1

"Therefore, having been justified {made legitimate} by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ".  This is a thank You Jesus moment.  Hallelujah!!!

Colossians 3:15

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful".  Amen!!!

Psalm 4:8

"I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety".  Hallelujah, amen!!!  You have trouble sleeping, there is your answer.

Psalm 29:11

"The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace".

This is a promise.  As a gentile, you became His people through the finished work of Jesus on the Cross.  Say "I receive it and I thank You Father God, in Jesus' Name.  Amen"!!!  Claim it and walk in it, in the Name of Jesus.

John 14:27

"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid".

That is so beautiful.  Did you feel the LOVE?  Jesus promised this to us.  You know He is God the Son, He cannot lie.  It's a promise with assurance, that He does not give to us like the World gives.  He gives with no conditions.  So encouraging: "Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid".  Wow!  MY GOD!!!  I love You Lord.  Thank You!  Thank You!  Thank You!  My God!

Thank you for visiting our blog.  If you were touched in any way, please share your testimony with us.  Please share this blog with someone and be a blessing to them, and you be blessed, in Jesus' Mighty Name.  Amen!!!   pflb © 12/19/20.
