JESUS IS YOUR FULFILLMENT
THE NEW YOU!!!
Shabbat Shalom!!! Today, I am going to talk about "Jesus Is Your Fulfillment". What is fulfillment? Fulfillment is a noun. It means accomplishment, completion. Other words for fulfillment are:
achievement, attainment, contentment, perfection, realization, crowning , effecting, just the ticket, you got it, et cetera.
One of the words up there that means the same as fulfillment is crowning. Revelation 1:6 says that "And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen!!! So if you are not feeling that you are a king/queen and priest yet, you are not fulfilled in God's Will.
Have you ever wondered why many struggle in this area {fulfillment} of their lives? Why it is easy for some people to attain and like pulling teeth for other people? Or how some people have attained and you have not? It is a mystery. Right? One of the challenges is, you have to be happy for someone else who has arrived. That pleases God.
There are so many possibilities we can sit around and try to rack our brains to figure it out: the devil is fighting against you; sin: yours, parental, others sinning against you; choices you are making; haters; drugs; witchcraft; the system; et cetera. No matter what the cause of your unfulfillment, rest assured that "Jesus Is Your Fulfillment". There is a reason for everything in our lives, we just don't understand, especially the times we are going though the challenges, what the reasons are.
In the area of fulfillment, He did not come for those that are fulfilled. He came for those that are unfulfilled, to show us the Way, the Truth, and the Life to fulfillment. All I have to tell you is that you are very special. It is going to take Yeshua/Jesus/Isa to get you there. Some things, certain people, cannot do alone without the help of God. He came to make His brothers and sisters, WHOLE. I am going to share a Bible story with you about "A Man Healed at the Pool of Bethesda".
John 5:5-8 New International Version
"Now there was a certain man who was there who had an infirmity (disability, sickness} for thirty-eight years. {Mind you, infirmity is a stronghold: a spirit}. When Jesus saw him lying there, {this man was paralyzed}, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long tine, He said to him, "Do you want to be made well?" {That is our Jesus, He is so compassionate. He notices these things, right? That was His mission}.
"The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me." Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk." And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed and walked".
This happened on a day like today, Saturday, a Sabbath Day. I am so excited, I cannot wait to see what the Word of God has to say about fulfillment. Mind you, these Scripture compilations about "Jesus Is Your Fulfillment" are written from the New King James Version. Ready, Set, Go!!!
Matthew 5:6
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled".
OMG! Okay. See, didn't I say you were special? If you desire fulfillment in life, there is nothing wrong with you. The Bible says you are blessed because you hunger and thirst for righteousness {hunger and thirst is same as having the desire for fulfillment}. I am going to believe that it is righteous to desire, to hunger to be fulfilled. The only thing that could be unrighteous is the way you might choose to attain your hunger and thirst {your desire to fulfillment}, or what you hunger and thirst for. What you hunger and thirst {desire to fulfill} for must be pleasing to God, in order for Jesus to help you attain.
Like the man at the Pool of Bethesda. Is it God's desire for a paralytic to walk? Heavens yes!!! The man lying at the Pool of Bethesda for thirty-eight years, did he hunger and thirst to walk? Heavens yes!!! Just the ticket he had been waiting for. Okay, let's see what the next verse has to teach us.
Psalm 37:4
"Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart".
God's way, to attain fulfillment is to "Delight yourself in the Him". In order to do this, let us see what the word "Delight" really means, or see what other words mean delight. Delight is a noun, and it means "enjoyment and happiness". So what Psalm 37:4 is saying, is for our enjoyment and happiness to be about God, so that "He will give us the desires of our hearts".
Other words for delight: contentment, joy {fruit of the Spirit}, pleasure, satisfaction, ecstasy {get high about God}, et cetera. If we are these things about God, then we will attain fulfillment, because Jesus will see to it. Praise God hallelujah!!!
Psalm 107:9
"For He satisfies the longing soul, And fills the hungry soul with goodness".
Longing is another word for hunger, thirst, desire, delight, et cetera. So in order to attain fulfillment, you must first have a hunger, a thirst, a desire, for something {hopefully something} pleasing to God.
Psalm 103:5
"Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's".
I love this scripture. Have you ever felt extremely excited when you are working on a project, and you feel like a kid? You feel alive, giddy, can't wait to get to it? When you are in this place, you definitely feel "your youth renewed": you feel alive. This is how you know you are in the right place doing the right thing. Don't get me wrong, you could get challenges along the way, but majority of the time, you feel this excitement when the idea comes, and when you start working on that project. When the challenges come, you just keep persevering, you keep your eyes on Jesus. You keep your eyes on the "prize", hee hee!!!
Joel 2:26
"You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame".
This is when you arrive at your place of fulfillment. You don't want to forget the LORD, because without Him you could not have done it {Deuteronomy 8:18}. This is a good "thank You Jesus moment"!
John 6:35
And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst".
So you come to Jesus, He will satisfy your hunger for fulfillment, and if you believe in Him, you will never be thirsty. He is how some of us are going to attain fulfillment. There is no other way for you. Why? Because we are special. The devil does not like special people.
Psalm 22:26
"The poor shall eat and be satisfied; Those who seek Him will praise the LORD. Let your heart live forever"! This is where we say Yes Lord, and Amen!
Mind you, these Scripture compilations are all promises God has made to you. So in 2 Corinthians 1:20, it is written "For all the promises of God are :Yes in Christ. And so through Him, our "Amen is spoken to the glory of God". So every time you hear a promise God has made to you, you say "Yes and Amen", in Jesus' Name. Amen?
John 4:13-14
Jesus answered and said to her "Whoever drinks of this water {worldly water} will thirst again, "but whoever drinks of the water {Holy Spirit} that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water {Holy Spirit} that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life." This is a Yes and Amen moment! Thank you Jesus! moment.
Joel 2:19
The LORD will answer and say to His people, "Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach {a disgrace, condemnation} among the nations." Pretty much, God is sending you everything you need to bring you into that place of fulfillment. This is another Thank You Jesus moment.
Isaiah 58:10-11
"If you extend your soul to the hungry And satisfy the afflicted soul, Then your light shall dawn in the darkness, And your darkness shall be as the noonday {Praise God!}. The LORD will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail".
This Scripture is telling me, in the process of attaining fulfillment, I have to extend my soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then my light shall shine.
Have you ever heard of giving to other people that which you need? Pretty much is what this verse is saying. You are hungry, your soul is not satisfied {fulfilled} because it knows you are not where God intends for you to be. As a result, you are engulfed in darkness. You feel deep inside of yourself that something is missing. You feel darkness all around you because nothing is going right: you keep going around in circles; you get a break and then you loose it. This is when you do Isaiah 58:10-11.
You extend your soul {= mind - to think of doing something good toward the afflicted soul; will - to actually act upon doing something for the afflicted soul; emotions - show Godly emotions toward the afflicted soul: love, joy, patients, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, self control - these are the fruits of the Spirit of God}.
A good example also regarding the Fruit of the Spirit, is you may be lacking any of these 9 fruits. You challenge yourself with someone with the same lack {love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, or self control}, and challenge yourself to give it to someone who needs it. This is a you got it moment!
What are the signs of somebody afflicted? They are depressed {although some people still look happy no matter what is going on in their lives}; they are cursed {having hard times, nothing is going right, they are in the process of being molded by God}; grieved {they may have just lost a loved one, they are suffering: from sickness, financially, spiritual oppression, et cetera.
This Scripture is saying, that when you extend your soul to the afflicted soul, it brings them satisfaction {fulfillment}. Then the Light {Jesus} within you, shall dawn {shine}. It means the light {Jesus} within you will come on and the darkness in your life will disappear. Your darkness will transform into daylight. And I believe if you continue on this path, the Lord will continue to guide you continually, and He will continue to satisfy your soul even when there is scarcity, He will strengthen your bones, and you will be like a watered garden. You must learn to hear who God wants you to help, because you cannot help anyone who is not ready to be helped, otherwise you will get burned out {casting your pearls in front of swines {Matthew 7:6}. The power working in them will take you down with them. The best thing to do is to keep your distance and pray for them. Moving forward!
Psalm 145:15-16
"The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing". This is a thank You Jesus moment.
We should always look to God for all we need because He is our Source. We must learn that there is a season for everything. If your supply is not there yet, be patient and wait for God's timing, otherwise you will make the wrong choices and decisions {Psalm 46:10}. This is what this scripture is all about. If anyone is generous with you, it is because God has touched their hearts to give to you. You get blessed, and they get blessed for doing the will of God. It is a win win situation. It kind of complements Isaiah 58:10-11. All right!
Jeremiah 31:14
"My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips".
This scripture is the reason for Deuteronomy 8:18. We should never forget to thank God for what He does for us; we should thank Him when He takes our lives from the pit to fruitfulness; or when he takes us from captivity into freedom; or when nothing is happening on the physical, believe me, something is happening in the Spiritual realm!
Psalm 63:5-6
"When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches".
This is a great Scripture if you cannot sleep at night, and you pick up the Bible and read it, or listen to songs with Scriptures, or watch a Christian movie, you are remembering God. You are meditating on Him and worshiping Him. That is beautiful!!! This act alone will make the devil put you to sleep. Lol! And if you did not sleep, but you did the above, the next day, you will be operating on God's Power and Energy. Trust me!
Romans 8:32
"He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall he not with Him also freely give us all things"?
This is an encouraging Scripture. It is assuring us that if God can give up His one and only Son {Jesus}, to die for us, then how can He not give us all things, including fulfillment. What a mighty God we serve? This definitely is a thank You Jesus moment!!! And remember, Elohim: God the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit loves you!
Please share this blog to be a blessing to someone else, and you be blessed, in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen!!! pflb (c) 11/7/20
