                            Image by FreeImages.com Shabbat Shalom!!!  Today, I am going to share with you, this prayer, for "Knowing God's Will".  I do believe, that it is important to know what God's Will is for you.  If He is in control of your life, then His Will is what matters.  In fact, His Will is all that matters.  You can pray this prayer over yourself, or over someone else, or for someone else.  But first, let's see what the Bible says about prayers: for yourself, and for others.  It is written, in Philippians 4:6-7                                 Prayer For Yourself "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus". Matthew 12:50 "For whoever does the will of My Father in Heaven is My brother and sister and mother". There you go!  That's the prerequisite.   Hebrews 2:11 "For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren". Sanctify means to "hold in highest esteem".  Other words meaning sanctify is anoint, bless, cleanse, dedicate, purify, set apart, et cetera . Shabbat Shalom!  Today, we are going to write about a "PRAYER FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS".  Before we go any further, let us have an understanding of what RIGHTEOUSNESS means.  RIGHTEOUSNESS is a noun, and it means "devotion to a sinless life.  This is very interesting, because we are all sinners.  Infact, the Bible states that we are all born sinners because of Adam and Eve's sin in the Garden of Eden, as a result, sin entered into the world.   Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned-- Romans 5:18 Therefore, as through one man's {Adam} judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's {Jesus} righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.
